Nicaragua Cosatin
Nicaragua Union de Cooperativa de Tierra Nueva-Boaco is formed of 369 members, 317 of whom are certified organic. This Fair Trade co-op is family owned and ranges in size from three to seven acres.
Founded in 1997, Cosatin operates as a buyer and extension service provider of its member's specialty food products. Members also practice horiticulture and apiculture and also produce organic sweet honey.
